Pracsys was commissioned to provide expert Economic Consultancy services to the Department to develop a Regional Development Strategy for Western Australia. Scope of works included:

  • Market-oriented regional development insights supported by rigorous evidence-based analysis
  • Ground-up insights into the experience of regions and regional enterprises in developing concepts, projects and business cases
  • External insights into the performance of the Western Australian regional development system

Outcomes:

Pracsys worked with the Department to develop the Value Proposition for Regional Development. Key outcomes included the proposition itself, the potential roles for State Government and the regional development portfolio and supporting data, through metrics that strengthen the value proposition. This work formed the pathway for a future integrated Regional Development Strategy.
