Performance

As a whole, managers are never taught how to formulate, communicate and measure a strategy.

They generally find it confusing, long-winded and irrelevant to their everyday work. Yet, it is the hallmark of successful organisations and surprisingly simple to do.

Pracsys has built a strategic planning system from the best methods available. The Pracsys system always works.

Pracsys transfers the planning method to boards and management teams so that they are able to understand their current situation, how the market is evolving, what the competition is doing and therefore what goals are appropriate.

Within this context, strategy is about what actions the organisation will take, and how it can realistically resource the actions. Most strategies fail because organisations take on too much, forget their purpose, or do not understand the type and amount of resources needed to be successful.

EPRA - Northbridge Economic Development Plan

Pracsys was commissioned to devise a detailed strategy for ensuring the invigoration of the business community in the Northbridge part of the East Perth Redevelopment Area.

The Pracsys strategy assisted EPRA to identify the types of businesses required to invigorate the Plateia Hellas precinct and formed a basis for the EPRA negotiation strategy for selling land to Central TAFE for the major campus redevelopment on William Street / Aberdeen Street corner.

A new governance structure was suggested to improve the “normalisation” process between EPRA and the City of Perth, which may be extended to other bordering local government.

Verticon - Business Plan

Since listing on the Stock Exchange in 2004, Verticon has undergone a period of significant stress. In turn Verticon requested assistance from Pracsys to review the business, make appropriate recommendations as well as assisting and preparing for the future.

Pracsys undertook the role of developing a business plan for the next three years which was distributed to shareholders and the Stock Exchange to re-establish creditability within the market place and its stakeholders.

The final business plan incorporated a review of asset base and market research to ascertain size of market, market share and anticipated revenue. Pracsys also carried out the preparation and implementation of a comprehensive financial forecasting and scenario planning model to assist Verticon in the future.
